BIO
– Haydeé Ullfig
Haydeé Ullfig emigrated with her family from Argentina to Chicago as a young child. While in primary school she
already showed a strong natural aptitude for art. During her High School years Haydee continued studying art and
was awarded a scholarship for classes at the Art Institute of Chicago. She graduated with a major in Fine Arts from
William Rainey Harper College, Palatine, IL. Her subsequent degree in Business Administration from the University
of Miami, has strengthened her entrepreneurial spirit.
Her versatility is reflected in the many projects she has accomplished, such as children’s book illustrations,
commissioned art for interior designers, commissioned children’s portraits, murals, computerized 3-D swimming
pool and landscape design and graphic design. In addition, during 2008 and 2009 she had the opportunity to teach
as art educator for youth at the Coral Springs Museum of Art where she taught painting, introductions to fine artists
and the use of recycled products for creative and fun projects.
Haydee's community involvement as an artist includes benefits and non-profit events such as: Breast Cancer
Foundation (2009), Hobe Sound Mural Project (2010 and 2012), Art D'Art at the Lighthouse Art Center (2012), Art
in the Alley 4 in Delray Beach (2014), Go Figure at the Lighthouse Art Center (2014), ArtyBras as the Lighthouse
Art Center (2014), Pine Grove Elementary School 12 Artist Collaboration Mural Painting (2014), High Water Line
event in Delray Beach (2015).
Her extensive travels throughout Europe and South America, visiting cultural and artistic centers, her keen
observation of the world around her, her love of children, animals and nature, as well as her capacity to see
“outside the box” continue to enhance her creative development. She considers herself an "artist in transition" with
her best work still to be created.
